The unique components and assembly methods produce perfectly balanced, lightweight, very strong landing nets and the diamond aluminium alloy rim provides exceptional strength-to-weight ratio.
Diamond aluminium alloy rim sizes:
Superior Salmon – 13mm through cross section
Salmon Gye – 13mm through cross section
All other landing nets – 10mm through cross section
Shafts are anodised for additional weatherproofing. The salmon gye is the exception to this as it takes a lot more punishment than the other game sport landing nets.
The longer reaching telescopic shafts are manufactured from hexagonal age-hardened and tempered aluminium alloy to minimise distortion.

All other hexagonal shafts: 10mm AF
Telescopic Trout alloy tube: 13mm diameter

Moulded knuckles join the handle, shaft and rim. They are manufactured using nylon glass toughened resin - the very best composite mix of materials - ensuring they are exceptionally strong. The other advantage is that the design significantly reduces the likelihood of net bag snagging.
The NPVC and cork ergonomic grips are non-slip even when wet. The cork grips are manufactured from natural cork. The NPVC foam has excellent vibration qualities and good weathering capabilities. Both are ergonomically shaped to provide that extra grip and prevent from slipping.
Clips are on all lanyards and can be attached to the o-ring on the net rim for 'hands-free' carrying and to secure the lanyard when not in use.
Rubber ends are on all landing nets for durability.
The locking mechanism on the telescopic folding trout net engages automatically. Simply slide the brass pin towards the rim to disengage and fold the net. The shaft extension can be engaged and disengaged with a simple 'grip and twist' action.
Standard Net bags are knotless mesh, pan style and the depth is 10% greater than the rim diameter to ensure the fish cannot easily escape. The Superior Salmon Gye net features a hand-finished deluxe knotless mesh net with top loops.
